No, you will get into shape as you train. We have a series of exercises that you will learn as you progress through the ranking system which will enable you to perform the self defense techniques.

You are never too old to begin martial arts training! Karate regularly has students start from adolescence through their 60's and older. Our class regime involves a series of movements that stimulate the body and mind, offering many health benefits.

¿Qué me pongo para mi primera clase?

Accepted Answer

Anything comfortable and loose fitting, and nothing hanging below ankle level; tshirt, tracksuits or shorts are more than suitable! Whenever you are ready, you can purchase a Gi (Karate Uniform).

1 - 2 classes a week are recommended, as is practicing at home.
 
If you want additional one to one attention, we offer private lessons in Bushey which can help you further hone your skills.
